It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald C. Fratz of Ashland, Ohio, who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty (Haring); his wife Marcia (Maiken); his sons, James and Andy; and his parents, Carl Fratz and Helen Fratz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carolyn Salupo (Sal) of Northfield, Heather Riddle (Scott) of Arlington and Rachel Early (Raymel) of Ashland; his stepchildren, Becky Blair (Paul) of Ashland, Debby Dever (Mark) of Nankin, Cathy Freelon of Nankin and Mike Freelon of Ashland; his grandchildren, Sam (Katelyn), Ben, Eva, Hendrix, Trey, Jenna, Dan, Rusty, Bryan (Calysia), Justin (Carrie), Jamie (Sam), Jordan (Morgan), Dakota (Dreama) and Chelsea; and his great grandchildren, Amilyn, Alysia, Tenley, Brody, Griffin, Aaron, Beau, Riley, Paisley and Colt.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
