He is survived by: his wife Donna Sheppard of Ashland; his son Robert Sheppard (Shelley) of Granville, Tennessee; his grandson Corey J. Yaxley of Dallas, Texas; and his sisters, Nadine Angus of Ashland and Patty Moorefield of Ashland. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Highland Church of God.
