He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Zappone and Eulah Zappone (Henry); his wife Joan Zappone (Rinehart); his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Poth, Jean Streib, Gloria Rinehart, Ernest Poth Jr., James Rinehart and Howard Gerhart; and his nephews, Jerry Robson, Dean Gerhart and Todd Gerhart.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Wilbur Streib and Sonia Gerhart; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Forrest (Bryan), Anna Cottone (Nigel), Ray Poth, Debbie Crider (James), Cathy Robson, Linda Lehnhart (James), Carolyn Rost (Vincent), David Streib (Barb), Scott Gerhart (Brenda) and Brenda Gerhart. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
