He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene V. Halterman and Ruth V. Halterman. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Cooper; his daughters, Heidi Howell (Stephen) of Ashland, Jill Miller (Michael) of Medina and Jennifer Blue (Ron) of Medina; his grandchildren, Jacob Howell (Pami), Hannah Howell, Luke Howell (Jessica), Aaron Miller (Elizabeth), Andrew Miller (Jessica), Sean Blue (Cameron), Nathan Blue and Sarah Blue; his great grandchildren, Judah, Piper, Gabriel, Huxley, Crew Howell, Finn, Margot Miller, Rhett and Henry Blue; and his siblings, Bonnie Jean Lash (Dennis) of Ashland, Arnold Halterman (Susan) of Georgia and Gary Halterman (Beverly) of Ashland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
