She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mae Briggs and Everett Leasure; and her son Donald E. Young. She is survived by: her husband Larry Mumaw; her children, George Young (Norma), Rick Young (Colleen), Rodney Young, Jim Young (Lorie) and Tami Walz (Chip); and her brother Rodney Norris. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and several great and great, great grandchildren.
