With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles E. Hackworth Jr. of Ashland, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles E. Hackworth Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hackworth and Thelma Knapp (Fred); his daughters, Tracy Roberts and Jeannie Hackworth; and the parents of children, Glenn and Joan Snader.
He is survived by: his wife Dixie Hackworth of Ashland; his son Scott Hackworth (Melissa) of Harrisburg; his grandson Kyle Hackworth; his sisters, Sally Pratt (Ray) of Mansfield and Peggy Hunt (Mike) of Ashland; his sisters-in-law, Jeri Clever (Douglas) of Ashland and Reta Rogers (Jim) of Ashland; and also, Paige, Meadow Hackworth, Mikael Hawk (Amy) of Murrieta and Kody Hawk. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home (313 Center St, Ashland, OH 44805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 210 Davis Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805 or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1021 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
