The passing of Catherine Hope Paxton of Ashland, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 2, 2025 at the age of 70. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine M. Johnson, (Ramey) and John J. "Newton" Johnson, Jr.; her sister Sandra; and her brothers-in-law, Curtis Roth and Dave Coovert.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Dean Paxton; her children, Lesley Klosterman (Jeff) of Harrodsburg, KY and Andy Paxton (Halsy) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Reece, Grant Klosterman, Nora, Delia and Declan Paxton; and her siblings, Ronald Johnson (Muriel), Nancy Dyer, Brenda Coovert and Jane (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Penwell Funeral Home (168 W Main St, Shelby, OH 44875). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Church (1144 W Main St, Ashland, OH 44805).
