It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol Ellen Humphrey Poeppelman of Ashland, Ohio, born in Parma, Ohio, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Karkan and Eleanor Maschmeier Karkan; and her former husband Robert Humphrey. She is survived by: her husband William Poeppelman; her children, Kenneth Humphrey (Monica) of Tucson, AZ, Cheryl Phillips (Brad) of Ashland, Donna Atkins (Jeff) of Congress and Darrell Humphrey (Barbra) of Reno, NV; and her siblings, Donald Karkan of Parma and Ellen Narr of Michigan. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
