He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Taylor and Doris Taylor (Williamson); his sister Carol Smith; his sister-in-law Kathy Taylor; and his niece Rachel St. Laurent.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah Sue Fox; his children, Angela Zinsli (Todd) of Grand Blanc, MI and Ryan Taylor (Cari); his grandchildren, Elijah, Caleb, Grace Zinsli, Carson and Sydney Taylor; his siblings, Jeff Taylor, Charles Taylor (Lori) and Kathy St (Ronald); and his brothers-in-law, Fred Smith and Denis Fox (Jenny).

Memorials may be given to either Cancer Patient Services, Bridge Hospice or Good Hope Lutheran Church in his memory.
