With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Guenther C. Schomburg (Arlington, Ohio), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Fanny Schomburg (Hauptman); his wife Elizabeth A. Hill; and his siblings, William Werner Schomburg, Ernest, Charles, Lawrence Wooldridge, Mary Stevens and Almeda Muskin.
He is survived by: his son Christopher S. Schomburg; his stepchildren, William Wertz (Peggy), Carol Shears (Richard) and Nora; and his siblings, Joseph D. Schomburg and Minna Phillips (Barry) of Columbus, OH. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
