She was predeceased by: her father Orill Roy; and her brother Robert Roy. She is survived by: her husband Larry L. Shearer; her children, Edward Roy Shearer of Fostoria and Colene R. Lewis (Jeffrey) of Houcktown; her grandchildren, Kurri Lewis (Chantel) and Kourtney Smith (Spenser); her great grandchildren, Valo Lewis, Knox Lewis, Jax Smith and Jaya Smith; and her sister Mary Jo Myers of Mt. Blanchard.
Memorials may be given to either the church or to the Hancock County Humane Society.
