She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Podesta and Della Podesta (Martin). She is survived by: her husband Col. Hickman; and her children, Virginia Hickman Hellstern (Ray) and Franklin J. Hickman, Jr. (Kathleen). She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
