He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Pius Welter and Frances Welter (Swartzmiller); his sons, Joseph (Barbara), John (Patricia) and James (Maria); his grandchildren, Michael (Emma), Daniel, Mary, Patrick (Amanda), Jenna, Justin, Chris and Jake; his great grandchild Emma; his wife Joan; and his siblings, Tom, Regina, Jane, Dorothy and Gracie.
