He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wagner and Helen Wagner (Nusbaum); his wife Mary Gudakunst Wagner; his daughter-in-law Susan Wagner; and his siblings, Bob Wagner, Billy Wagner, Betty Wagner and Judy Delong.
He is survived by: his children, David Wagner of Ada, Cindy Parkins of Bluffton, Tom Wagner (Cynthia) of Bluffton and Karla Burkholder (Dennis) of Bluffton; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Parkins (Katie), Brandon Parkins (Taryn), Dr. Amanda Wagner, Andrew Wagner (Nicole), Kyle Wagner (Paige), Chad Burkholder (Anna), Craig Burkholder (Danie) and Curt Burkholder. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton Chapel (239 S Main St, Bluffton, OH 45817). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riley Creek Baptist Church (4950 Orange Township Rd 27, Bluffton, OH 45817).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, City Mission of Findlay or the Alzheimer's Association.
