He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Welly and Lucia M. Welly (Grieser). He is survived by: his children, Stephen Welly (Ann) of Lima and Sarah Lucius (Todd) of Van Buren; his wife Janet Cole; his children, Dan Settlage (Kelly) of Jenera, Kim Reichley (Kess) of Findlay, Austin Welly and Jenna Welly; his sisters, Beth Bracy (Rick) of Lima, Beatrice Streacker (Earl J.) of Findlay and Bernice K. Welly of Findlay; his grandchildren, Taylor Gonyer, Trevor Lucius, Brycen Lucius, Cami Settlage, Norah Welly, Addison Lucius, Allie Settlage, Owen Reichley, Greyson Welly, Hazel Reichley and Anderson Welly; his close friend Jon Musgrave; and also Deborah Courtright.
