With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velma I. Gnagey of Archbold, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sauder and Wilma Sauder (Wyse); her husband Omar J. Gnagey; her son Doug Gnagey; her granddaughter Hannah Gnagey; and her siblings, Verna Sauder Miller, Lowell Sauder, Orval Sauder and Marland Sauder.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy G. Short (Jerry) of Tucson, Arizona, Les Gnagey (Nedra) of Goshen, Indiana, Marv Gnagey (Carol) of Port St and Gail Gnagey (Michelle) of Lewisburg, Ohio.; her grandchildren, Maria Gnagey Woelk (Sam), Kevin Gnagey, Aaron Gnagey (Rebecca), Brian Gnagey (Ashley), Lydia Gnagey McKinsey (Nathan), Elise Gnagey Striebich (Nathan) and Olivia Gnagey Callicoat (Joel); her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Josiah, Matthew, Eliana, Charlie, Kathryn, Gabe, Gemma, Emma, Samuel, Corrine, Bradyn and Killian; and her sister Mary Sauder Eash Evers.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Tedrow Mennonite Church.
