She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Maurice Shinabery and Lela Faye Shinabery (Zimmerman); her husband Larry Neil Baus; and her brother Wayne. She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce, Brenda and Robert.

In lieu of flowers, the family's wishes are for memorials to be given to CHP Defiance In-Patient Hospice Center or the Community Pregnancy Center of Northwest Ohio.
