Shirley M. Nofziger Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley M. Nofziger of Archbold, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Shirley left this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Roesener and Ethel Roesener (Huith). She is survived by: her husband Peter W. Nofziger; her children, Rodney Nofziger (Sarah) of Custar and Laneé Benson (Michael) of Bryan; her grandchildren, Colton Benson (Riley Bloir), Caylin Benson (Quinn Zaerr), Jaxcyn Nofziger, Wyatt Nofziger, Stetson Nofziger and Everett Nofziger; her brother Jim Roesener (Carolyn); and her siblings-in-law, Vietta Nofziger, Nola Harnish, Marlene Baer (Ed), Ed Nofziger (Carol), Milton Nofziger (Donna) and Lee Hershberger (Rachel). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Central Mennonite Church (21703 OH-2, Archbold, OH 43502). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Lockport Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Little Eden Camp, Mennonite Central Committee or It All Matters.
