Ruth Detwiler Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Detwiler (Archbold, Ohio), who passed away on August 26, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Fred and Vesta Lorentz (Sonanstine); and her siblings, Mildred Winover, Alice Lorentz, Helen Castor, Martha Lorentz, Jake Lorentz and Fred Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Rex A. Detwiler; her children, Kathy King (Douglas) of Caledonia, MI, Sandra Fleagle (Lanny) of West Unity, OH, Michael Detwiler of West Unity, OH, Vicky Preston (Craig) of Stryker, OH, Michele Saylor (Robert) of Peru, IN and Karen Kuney (Rick) of West Unity, OH; her siblings, Betty Flory (Robert) of Bryan, OH, Edward Lorentz (Betty) of Bryan, OH and Robert Lorentz (Judy) of Bryan, OH.; and her great grandchildren, Peyton and Miley Buehrer. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren with two more great-grandchildren.
