He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeVries and Ruth DeVries (Barnum); and his brothers, Tom and David. He is survived by: his wife Carol Knapp; his son Michael (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kyle (Jessica), Logan and Connor; his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Jason and Jaxson; and his brothers, Bill and Gary.
