He was predeceased by: his parents, Erie J. Sauder and Leona Sauder (Short); his brother Delmar; his sister-in-law Evelyn Sauder; his brother Maynard Sauder; his stepsister Elaine Graber (Dave); and his son-in-law Greg Bontrager.
He is survived by: his wife Freida Gingerich; and his children, Nancy Yoder (Doug), Daniel Sauder (Esmeralda) and Julie Crossgrove (Trevor). He is also survived by great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Sauder Village or Little Eden Camp.
