He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin William "Bill" and Violet Harmon (Shaffer); and his sister Carol Kohart. He is survived by: his wife Diana Tracy; his son Michael Harmon (Joanna) of Wauseon; his grandchildren, Micah Harmon, Anna Shepard (Jason) and Jonah Harmon; his great grandchildren, Rex and Oliver Shepard; and his brother Rev. Stan Harmon (Jane) of Oakwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or to the Payne Camp Meeting of the Church of God.
