She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Spiess and Elizabeth Spiess (Nofziger); and her husband Wilmer "Bill" Short. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Steiner (Mert Kinsman) of Archbold; her grandsons, Jeff Leininger (Sharon) of Maumee and Neil Leininger (Kimm) of Chardon; and her great grandchildren, Brooke, Gavin, Brendan, Darby and Raegann.
