She is survived by: her children, Ruth Schoenhals (Hannah), Walter Schoenhals (Joy), Gerald Schoenhals (Christine) and Mark Schoenhals (Sarah). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Mennonite Church, Eastern Mennonite Missions Impact Fund, or to the donor's charity of choice.
