The memory of Liesel Schoenhals of Archbold, Ohio, who passed away on January 9, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernst Guth and Susanne Guth (Weis); her husband Heini Schoenhals; her siblings, Herbert Guth and Christel Nolling; and her great grandchild Andre Showalter.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Schoenhals (Hannah), Walter Schoenhals (Joy), Gerald Schoenhals (Christine) and Mark Schoenhals (Sarah). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Short Funeral Home (500 N Defiance St, Archbold, OH 43502). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the Pettisville Cemetery. A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Mennonite Church (21703 OH-2, Archbold, OH 43502).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Central Mennonite Church, Eastern Mennonite Missions Impact Fund, or to the donor's charity of choice.
