She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezra Short and Mary Short (Wyse); her husband Verden L. Beck; her brothers, Earl Short, Glen Short, Wilmer Short and Chester Short; and her daughter-in-law Julie Beck.
She is survived by: her children, E. Dean (Jeanette), Daryl (Bonnie), Neal (Nancy) and Joyce Klingelsmith of Archbold. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
