It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Plassman (Archbold, Ohio), born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on September 7, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Palm and Judith Palm (Chase); her brother Richard Palm; and her son-in-law Warren Jewett. She is survived by: her husband Harold; her sisters, Jean Palm of Santa Fe, NM and Betty Morley of Santa Fe, NM; her siblings-in-law, Ron Plassman (Suzanna) of Fort Wayne, IN, Janice Palm of Warren, OH, Mildred Mitchell of Columbus Grove, OH and Clarabell Badenhop of Archbold; and also, Susan Dominique (James), Judi Rupp (Phil) of Archbold, Brenda Plassman of Cary, NC, Mark Plassman of Flagstaff, AZ, Janet Wyse (Jim) of Archbold and David Plassman (Jennifer) of Interlochen, MI. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Archbold Area Foundation (designated to the Harold and Joan Plassman Good Samaritan Fund), St. Martin's Lutheran Church (designated to the Harold and Joan Plassman Tuition Reimbursement Fund), or a charity of the donor's choice.
