He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schmucker and Sylvia Schmucker (Short); and his sisters, Doris Short and Donna Nafziger. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Mae Meck; and his children, Janelle Rychener (Daniel) of Archbold, OH, Douglas Schmucker (Mara Belle) of Wauseon, OH, Susan Jacoby (Barry) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Kelby (Shannon) and Jill Nafziger (Todd) of Archbold, OH. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to Mennonite Central Committee or Cherry Street Mission.
