She was predeceased by: her parents, William Plassman and Martha Plassman (Gerken); her former husband Lloyd Vajen; her grandson Justin Grieser; and her siblings, William "Bill" Plassman, Lucia Plassman and Lenore Flory.
She is survived by: her husband James E. Grieser; her children, Doug Vajen (Toni) of Cincinnati, Phil Grieser (Deb) of Archbold, Ann Dominique (Andy) of Archbold, Amy Cox (Brad) of Bryan and Pete Grieser (Rachel) of Archbold; and her siblings, Loren Plassman (Jean) of Defiance and Wilma Fruth of Defiance. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Filling Home of Mercy.
