She was predeceased by: her parents, Klyce Corey and Velma Corey (Hendricks); her former husband Robert Shirey; her husband Allen Carter; and her siblings, Jack, Robert, Wayne Corey and Jean Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Shirey of Archbold, Laura Frank (Tom) of Archbold and Daniel Shirey (Barbara) of Wauseon; and her sister Myra Shirey (Frank) of Mesa, AZ.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be given to West Clinton Church.
