He was predeceased by: his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Nafziger; his daughters, Jennifer Cobb (Adam) of Archbold and Anna Dowdy (Brett) of Maineville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Emma, Sydney, Ivan, Garrison of Archbold, Isaac and Micah of Maineville; and his siblings, Robert Schrock of Archbold, Grace Stutzman (Duane) of Lebanon, Barb Gingerich (John) of Topeka, Joyce Guinness (Mike) of Sylvania and Sara Knackstedt (Dave) of Norwalk, Ohio. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Archbold Fire and Rescue, CHP Hospice of Archbold, or charity of choice.
