David E. Lightner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2021, at the age of 87, David E. Lightner (Archbold, Ohio), born in Springfield, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar E. Lightner and Ruth Etta Lightner (King); and his siblings, Bill, Donald Lightner and Wanda Hancher.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lightner; his children, Lisa Short (Brad), Todd Lightner (Peggy) and Mark Lightner (Kristy); and his grandchildren, Brandon Klopfenstein, Meghan Riggs (Zachary), Laura Young (Aaron), Aaron Lightner (Cynthiann), Ashley Forsythe (Jordan), Joshua Lightner (Brook) and Hayley Lightner (Nick Diaz).
David was a long-time member of St. John's Christian Church but in his later years after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's he spent every Sunday attending the Fairlawn Chapel.
