She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Herbst and Mildred Herbst (Brandt); her daughter Lori McQuade (Tim) of Archbold; her grandchildren, Allie Boring (Andrew) of Canton, Luke McQuade (Leyna) of Fort Wayne and Leah McQuade of Archbold; and her sister Rita Sheldon (Larry) of Medina.
