It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ardith Rose Rupp of Archbold, Ohio, born in Fayette, Ohio, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Schaffner and Helen Schaffner (Quillet); her husband Lowell Rupp; her daughter Beverly Nelson; her granddaughter Melissa Rupp; and her brothers, Paul, Robert and Arlen Schaffner.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Rupp (JoAnne) of Archbold, Larry Rupp (Suzie) of Stryker, Pam Wanemacher (Mark) of Archbold and Leslie Rupp (Jennifer) of Cincinnati; her son-in-law Richard Nelson of Napoleon; her grandchildren, Megan, Jefferson, Zachary, Mindy, Ashley, Dallas, Taylor, Jared, Jason, Courtney, Caitlyn and Machen; and her sister Lynette Hooker. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Miracle Camp or the CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
