She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon and Emma Short (Kutzli); and her siblings, Arthur Short, Grace Brenneman, Bessie Emch, Harold Short, Herma Gnagey, Doris Ebersole and Helen Holsopple.
She is survived by: her children, Marvin Short (Debbie) of Zionsville, IN, Wendell Short (Teresa) of Piedmont, OK, Janice Short (Leon) of Archbold, Lois Loree of Stratford and Sandra Stuckey (Gary) of Stryker; and her brothers, Walter Short (Shirley), Herbert Short (Arlene) and Roger Short. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be given to Mennonite Central Committee, Central Mennonite Church or Fairlawn Haven.
