He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter W. Oberer and Elizabeth Belle Oberer (Whitman); and his brothers, William "Bill" Oberer and Donald Lee Oberer. He is survived by: his sister Marilyn Stickney of West Milton; his nephews, John Oberer (Helen) of Union, Joe Oberer (Lora) of Englewood, Jim Oberer of Englewood and Scott Stickney of California; and his niece Kim Werner (Rod) of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
