He is survived by: his siblings, Charles, Robert, Harry, Warren, Edward, John Spencer, Sarah Smith, Violet Beasley and Viola Jones; his wife Phyllis Spencer (Ahlering); and his children, Jerry Spencer (Barb) of Saint Marys, Charles Spencer (Audrey) of Arcanum, Mark Spencer (Lisa) of Arcanum and Carol Carstensen (Rich) of Sidney, Ohio. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
