He was predeceased by: his wife Jacqueline; his son Michael Hogg; his grandson Jeremy Hogg; his parents, Bryan Hogg and Lizzie Hogg; and his siblings, Marie Hogg, Juanita Julian, Lucille Emerson, Elmer, Elwood and Elbert Hogg.

He is survived by: his children, Jerrilyn McFarland, John Hogg (Shelley), Richard Hogg and Jeffrey Hogg; and his grandchildren, Amy, Brian, John, Derek, Ashley, Brandon, Matthew, Nicka, Kevin, Danny, Sarah, Tammy, Jessica, Andrew and Elizabeth. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
