He was predeceased by: his father Keith Troutwine; his father-in-law Robert Goff; and his brothers-in-law, Steven Ganger and Kevin Rhodehamel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Troutwine (Hartley); his son Brian Troutwine (Lerin); his grandchildren, Noah, Hannah, Leah and Sarah; his daughter Jody Fritz (Matt); his grandchildren, Landon and Layla; his mother Lois Troutwine; his mother-in-law Evelyn Goff; his sisters, Vickie Rhodehamel, Deb Ganger and Terri Alley; his sisters-in-law, Tracy Matthieu and Michelle Batty (Allen); his nephew Zach Rhodehamel (Kelly); his niece Tricia Cassel (Jason); his great-niece Traci Greve (Gabe); and also, Beth Ganger, Jenny Ganger, Melanie Helman (Dustin), Jonathan Alley, Megan Campbell (Jeremiah), Austin Weimer, Kaylee Brigman (Conner), Kara Arbogast, Karli Arbogast, Allen Batty (Chelsea), Sam Batty and Jack Batty. He is also survived by his sons and grandsons.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenville Grace Brethren Church (4805 OH-49, Greenville, OH 45331). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Greenville Grace Brethren Church or the Cancer Association of Darke County in Kurt's memory.
