He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Furlong and Joy Furlong; and his siblings, Marilyn Leslie, Carolyn Lupi, Bob Furlong and Elaine Furlong.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Patterson Furlong; his siblings, Dean, Karen Furlong (Montana), Deo, Pam Furlong (Arcanum), Phyllis Petifor and Shirley Riffle; his brother-in-law Warren Leslie (Florida); his children, Kelly, Jeff Baron of Union City, IN, Kurt, Kimberly Furlong of Treasure Island, FL, Karen and Michael Young (Arcanum); his grandchildren, Zachary Furlong (Arcanum), Kyleigh Furlong, Robert Hutchinson of Union City, OH, Charles Baron of Muncie, IN, Emma Baron of Columbus, OH, Stephen Young and Joshua Smith of Versailles, OH; and also Ramo Lupi of Hollysprings, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
