We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2020, at the age of 89, John Sarver (Arcanum, Ohio), born in Covington, Virginia passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey Johnson and Mary Catherine Sarver (Beckner); his former wife Alberta Sarver (Lavy); and his brothers, Melvin and Irvin Sarver.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Shively Sarver (Wagoner); his children, Shirley Turner (Gale) of Arcanum, John Steven Sarver (Shirley Hathaway) and Calif; his brother Donald Sarver (Marty) of Greenville; his sister-in-law Sally Sarver; and his stepchildren, Marilyn Abbott (Bill), Patricia Shively, Vickie Shively and Donald Shively (Kara). He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, there will be no visitation prior to the funeral service.
