He is survived by: his wife Denise Garland (Slaven); his children, Todd Garland (Carol) of Greenville, Kenny Garland (Karen) of Arcanum, Stefanie Brock (Jason) of Arcanum and Matthew Hamilton (Tracy) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Bethany Jutte, Eric Garland, Joshua Shellhaas, Dustin Garland, Zachary Garland, Marco Silva, Autumn Brock, Nick Delk and Jared Delk; his great grandchildren, Mylah Garland, Laynah Garland, Mahlon Shellhaas, Eli Shellhaas, Norah Shellhaas, River Garland and Remi Garland; and his siblings, William "Bill" Garland of Florida, Jean Murphy of Columbus and Everett Garland Jr. of Greenville.
