He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Sue Farmer Adams; and his children, Gabrielle Adams and Jamie Adams. He is survived by: his children, Mellissa Adams and Gene Adams II (Lauren); his grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Joshua Adams, Ivor "Trey" Gene Adams III, Samuel Adams, Corey Adams and Michael Reed; and his sister-in-law Leanna Moore of Gloria Farmer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
