Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Harold Everett Freeman of Arcanum, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 81, on January 13, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alex and Orpha Catherine Freeman (Hoops); his children, Harold Freeman Jr. and Rebecca Ann Freeman; his siblings, James "Jim", Emerson, Warren, Orville Freeman, Helen West and Elizabeth Liffick; and his sisters-in-law, Rosemarie Roberts and Mary Hyde.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva "Genie" Freeman (Heid); his children, Kathy Huff (David), Jeff Freeman, Kimberly Freeman and Heidie Johnson; his grandchildren, Xavier Straquadine, Zack Huff (Danielle), Dillon Straquadine, Brittany Leonard (John), Dominic Straquadine and Nathan Johnson; his great grandchildren, Harper, Henri, Lily, Avery and Liam; his siblings, Margaret Collier and Danny Freeman (Betty); and his siblings-in-law, Joanne Freeman, Pat Cichanowicz and Dan Roberts. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Precious Blood Catholic Church (4961 Salem Ave, Dayton, OH 45416). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton (324 Wilmington Ave, Dayton, OH 45420) for the tremendous care and hospitality they continuously showed Harold and his family in just the short amount of time they were caring for Harold.
