He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Eley; and his siblings, Donald Eley, Elsie Rayburg, Lloyd Eley and Dale Eley.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Eley, Terry Eley (Kathy) and Eleta Baughman (Dave); his grandchildren, Jeff Eley (Maureen), Nevin Eley, Jason Schenck, Julie Schenck, Janelle Hattery (Bill), Clint Baughman, Katy Baughman, Jim Harsh (Beth), Trisha Harsh and Tiffany Potter (Chad); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Nora, Macy Eley, Whitney, Ashlyn Eley, Beau, Brianna Hattery, Toby, Hayley Potter, Maya, Lana Harsh, Lucas, Lane Baughman, Clayton, Parker Finney, Clohe and Chandler Harsh; his great great grandchild Nevaeh Eley; and his sister Mildred Hoover. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
