He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Farst and Maxine Farst; his son Michael David Farst; and his brother-in-law Charles Cook. He is survived by: his wife Ava; his children, Stephanie Hamilton (Matt), Emily Bice (Greg) and Kevin Farst (Saria); his grandchildren, Drew, Aly, JoJo, Abby, Emmett, Mae, Aaron and Callan; his stepmother Beverly Farst; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Cook (Marilyn) and Cheryl Winner (Larry).

Donations may be made to either Faith UMC or the American Diabetes Assn.
