He is survived by: his daughter Dana Sowry (Duane); his grandchild Dwana Rodriguez (Auggie); his great grandchild Nick Hughes; his siblings, Max Short, Kenneth Short (Lottie) and Carolyn Nicholson; his sister-in-law June Ellison; and his friend Ireta Zerkel. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
