He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Pitzer and Veda Pitzer; his son-in-law Dave Buckingham; his granddaughter Emily Buckingham; and his brother Don Pitzer.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia Sue Johnson-Pitzer; his children, Vicki Buckingham, Eric Pitzer (Phuong) and Gregory Pitzer (Jackie); and his sister Nancy Pitzer (Sonny). He is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
