It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Dean Hawkey of Arcanum, Ohio, born in Brookville, Ohio, who passed away on October 10, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Hawkey and Dora Hawkey (Sluterbeck); his wife Jean B. Hawkey (Bryson); and his siblings, Ralph Hawkey, Thelma Hawkey, Lloyd Hawkey, Raymond Hawkey, Garnett Haislip and Freda Poe.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Fisher (Wayne) of Greenville and Jerry Hawkey (JoAnn) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Isaac Fisher (Sarah Logan) of Fort Bragg California, Levi Fisher of Dayton, Ivy Cheeseman (Nathaniel) of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Mike Hawkey (Asazalia) of Palestine and Adrienne Sharp of Winterville.
