He was predeceased by: his siblings, Neva Williams, Lawrence Heffner, Richard Heffner, Elmer Heffner and Donald Heffner; and his parents, Harry Heffner and Luella Heffner (Auchey).
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Heffner (Kristy) of North Liberty, IA, Penny Prigge of Arcadia, OH and Cindi Heffner of Findlay, OH.; his grandchildren, Daniel Chinnis, Kaleb Heffner (Alex) of Cedar Rapdis, IA, Matthew Chinnis (Jessica Bastidas-Celleri) of Chicago, IL, Karis Cains (Chris) of England, Kayla Donaldson (Kalob) of Findlay, OH, Kirah Johnson (Jordan) of Richmond, IA and Erin Prigge of St. Louis, MO.; his great grandchildren, Maddox, Brooks Heffner, Alex, Cody, Eliza Johnson, Konnor and Athena Donaldson; and his wife Phyllis Ann Grimwood.
