With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wavelene Lula Cowger of Apple Creek, Ohio, born in Blandville, West Virginia, who passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Blake and Laura Blake (Lipscomb); her husband Elton Cowger; her daughter Brenda Myers; and her siblings, Earl Blake, Kenneth Blake, Harold Blake, Susie Nicholson and Rosalene McKinney.
She is survived by: her son Roy; her daughter-in-law Brenda Cowger of Wooster; her daughter Lula Cowger of Wooster; her grandchildren, Derek Cowger, Shannon Witt, Nathan Cowger, Chelsie Cowger, Amanda McCoy, Brandon Norris and Joseph Defils; her great grandchildren, Kobe Witt, Karter Witt, Kyson Witt, Kyndal Witt and Kreed Canter; and her pet Rayah Joi.
